The Bug File Volume Four
The Bug File is available in twelve monthly instalments; you simply
collect these and put the loose pages in the binder (this is sent with the
first instalment).
The content is all about insects; including articles
about insect behaviour, insect biology, the latest research on insects, careers
with insects... and much more. All the articles are written in a clear
easy-to-read style and so can be enjoyed by teenagers and adults alike. (And by
advanced younger children.) Each instalment has a popular puzzle page for all
to enjoy.
Unlike many other magazines, The Bug File does not
rely on fancy graphics and artwork; it concentrates on the content of
the articles and aims to inform people in an interesting way about insects. We
don't waste space on adverts but instead include the contact details of some of
the contributors' of the articles so you can contact them direct if you wish to
ask them a question or support their campaign.
Ten pages are posted
each month and so after one year there will be 120 pages altogether, stored in
the binder provided and divided into five sections, each colour coded. A
complete index is sent with the last instalment. Some of the pages are in full
colour, for example depicting antique insect drawings.

this from our woods and supply a long sprig of bramble (approx 44cm) with juicy
green leaves attached. This length is ideal because it is the optimum length to
fit into the Bug Studio Professional or Bug-Cage.
The bramble is sealed
in a special red plastic tube as soon as it is picked, to ensure it arrives
fresh.
Order four tubes of Fresh Cut Bramble and receive one
tube a week for four weeks.

Pot & Oasis twin-pack
The pot and oasis is an excellent way of keeping food fresh for stick insects.
Just push the stems of fresh cut food into the wet oasis and they will keep
fresh. This is much safer than using a jar of water because the water may spill
or the insects may drop in and drown.
The oasis needs to be well soaked
with water and so we supply the pot and oasis in a twin-pack. This is so you
can alternate the two: whilst one is in the cage keeping the leaves fresh, the
other pot and oasis is re-soaking in a bowl of water.
